John F. Richey

John F. Richey has a profound understanding of business dynamics, having grown up in a family business environment. This experience has given him firsthand insight into the challenges and successes of running a business. Motivated by witnessing the impact of inadequate legal representation on his family's business, John pursued a career in law to help others avoid similar challenges.

While attending law school, John dedicated time to volunteering with the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office and established a judicial non-profit to support the elderly with end-of-life legal matters. Additionally, he served as a reserve Sheriff Deputy with the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, all while raising four young children with his wife and maintaining full-time employment.

John is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho, the State of California, and their federal districts. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Idaho, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and the ABA Forum on Franchising.

His legal practice encompasses representing clients in matters ranging from personal injury to estate planning, both domestically and internationally in countries such as Spain, France, the Netherlands, South America, Canada, and China. His clientele includes global corporations and small businesses dealing with disputes involving wrongful termination and administrative estate issues.

Outside of his legal practice, John enjoys working on his property and spending time outdoors with his family, engaging in activities like golfing and paddleboarding. His commitment to helping others is a core aspect of his professional and personal life.
