Alyssa Renee Jones

Alyssa Renee Jones was born and raised in Idaho. She earned her degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Boise State University, followed by a master's in Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation from Northwest Nazarene University. After serving five years in the Idaho Army National Guard as a First Lieutenant in the Medical Services branch, Alyssa transitioned to a legal career.

Her law journey began in 2020 at the University of Idaho College of Law. She gained practical experience by externing with the Assistant United States Counsel's office, focusing on federal drug and gun cases. Alyssa further honed her legal skills by clerking for Chief Justice Bevan at the Idaho Supreme Court.

Initially, Alyssa specialized in family law, handling cases such as divorce, child custody, and civil protection orders. She has since expanded her practice to include civil litigation in both district and federal courts. Beyond her legal work, Alyssa remains passionate about dance, having performed with the Idaho Stampede. She enjoys outdoor activities like paddle boarding, skiing, and hiking with her boyfriend and dogs. Additionally, Alyssa contributes to the community by judging for the IDHSAA dance and cheer competitions.
