Angel M. Traub

Angel M. Traub is the principal owner of A. Traub & Assoc., based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where she excels in civil litigation with a focus on Family Law, Estate Administration, and Guardianship. She earned her B.A. from NIU in 1998, receiving the Outstanding Woman Student Award and Outstanding Communication Major Award. She graduated with a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2001, where she was recognized as a John Marshall Distinguished Scholar and joined the Order of John Marshall, Honorary Scholarship Society.

Angel was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois in 2001. She is certified in Divorce and Custody Mediation and Family Collaborative Law. Her extensive training includes advanced courses in Child Representation, Negotiation, Mediation, and Trial Advocacy. Angel actively participates in CLE seminars, presenting on topics such as estate planning, probate, estate administration, contested estates, GAL training, guardianship, family law, divorce, and contested child custody.

In 2007-2008, Angel served as President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. She was an active member of the DCBA, serving on its Board of Directors from 2007 to 2012, and held roles as Chair of the Judge's Night Committee and Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee. Her involvement extends to the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, where she contributed to the Suburban Bar Coalition Judiciary Committee. Angel has been honored with the DCBA Board of Director's Award and the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation Pro Bono Service Award. Her committee work includes Judiciary, Diversity, Membership, Entertainment, and Lawyer Referral Services.
