Chantelle A. Porter

Chantelle A. Porter graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003 and earned her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2006. While at DePaul, she obtained a Family Law Certificate and received several honors, including the Public Interest Law Association Grant - Judge Jeffrey Coman Designation, the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Grant, and the Dean's Scholarship.

Chantelle is a Partner at A. Traub and Associates, where she practices in all areas of Family Law, Juvenile Criminal Defense, DCFS Abuse and Neglect, Domestic Violence, Orders of Protection, and Civil Litigation Defense. She is also a court-approved Guardian ad litem in the 18th Judicial Circuit and serves as a Juvenile Conflict Legal Counsel in the same circuit.

Previously, Chantelle was the supervisor of the DuPage County Public Defender's Office Juvenile Division, focusing on representing juveniles in criminal matters and handling cases of abuse, neglect, and dependency for both parents and children.

Before her role in DuPage County, she worked at the Cook County Public Guardian's Office, advocating for the best interests of juveniles as both an attorney and Guardian ad litem on cases involving abuse, neglect, and dependency.
