Tricia M. Crabtree

Tricia M. Crabtree is an attorney dedicated to advocating for civil rights, with a focus on Police Misconduct and Employment Discrimination cases. She earned her undergraduate degree in 2022 from the University of Central Florida, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Diversity and Social Inequality. Her academic journey continued at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor in 2025.

During her time in law school, Tricia was honored with three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Employment Discrimination, Trial Advocacy 2, and Evidence. She was an active participant in the Moot Court Honor Society, showcasing her skills as an appellate advocate and coach.

In 2023, Tricia interned with Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where she assisted in expunging and sealing criminal records. Her experience expanded at Chicago-Kent’s Civil Litigation Clinic, focusing on Employment Discrimination and § 1983 matters. The following year, she gained valuable experience at the Midwest Innocence Project in Kansas City, working on wrongful conviction disputes related to police misconduct and discriminatory investigation practices.

Tricia's legal practice is centered on addressing issues such as wrongful detentions, false arrests, unreasonable searches, malicious prosecutions, excessive force, and due process violations. She also handles employment litigation involving discrimination based on various protected characteristics, including race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, and criminal records.
