Monica P. Patankar is a partner at Patankar Law P.C., based in Aurora, Illinois. She is known for her compassionate and attentive approach to resolving litigation issues. Monica's legal foundation was established at the University of Notre Dame Law School in Notre Dame, Indiana. After earning her degree, she joined Chapman and Cutler LLP in Chicago, Illinois. There, she collaborated with large municipalities and governmental entities to secure capital for significant infrastructure projects.

Transitioning from Chapman, Monica focused her expertise on household law issues and business litigation, handling both general litigation and transactional matters before founding Patankar Law P.C. Her interest in taxation led her to further her education at Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law, where she obtained an LL.M. in Taxation.

Monica is trained as a Guardian ad Litem in Kane, DuPage, and Kendall Counties, advocating for the best interests of minor children. As a Certified Mediator, she facilitates resolutions in divorce, child-related, and financial disputes, helping parties reach mutually acceptable solutions.
