Thomas A. Kelliher

Thomas A. Kelliher is a highly skilled litigator with a proven track record in trial law. Throughout his career, he has first-chaired 30 trials. While defending the city of Chicago, he secured victories in 90 percent of the 29 cases he took to jury verdict. In his role representing plaintiffs, he has achieved multiple jury verdicts exceeding $1 million.

Tom's educational background includes a degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School. Originally from Santa Monica, California, he completed high school in Arlington, Virginia. Currently residing in Westchester, Tom enjoys golf, barbecuing, and spending time with family and friends.

Prior to joining Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates, Tom served as an assistant corporation counsel in the torts division of the law department for the city of Chicago. Earlier in his career, he handled personal injury and product liability cases at a plaintiffs’ boutique firm in Chicago. His legal journey began as a law clerk for Judge Robert D. Sundby of the Wisconsin Fourth District Court of Appeals in Madison from 1994 to 1996.

Before pursuing a career in law, Tom worked at the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation in Syracuse, New York.
