Andrew J. Rankin

Andrew J. Rankin, originally from Highland, Illinois, is a Partner at Stange Law Firm, overseeing the East Region, which includes all Illinois offices and the Arnold, Missouri office. Since joining the firm in 2015, Andrew has been committed to providing compassionate and effective legal representation in family law matters.

Andrew's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. He initially pursued a career as a professional pilot and flight instructor, collaborating closely with pilots and students. Later, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois.

Before joining Stange Law Firm, Andrew gained valuable experience at another law firm in Illinois and the Office of the State’s Attorney for Madison County, Illinois. Recently, he completed mediation training, enhancing his ability to assist clients through mediation in family law cases.

Recognized for his expertise, Andrew has been “Lead Counsel Rated” for Family Law since 2016, a designation awarded to attorneys with significant experience, peer recommendations, and a clean disciplinary record. In 2020, he was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for Family Law by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor given to only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.

Outside of his professional life, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, and is an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals.
