Emily E. Scott brings over a decade of experience to her practice in Belleville, Illinois, focusing on real estate, eviction, and installment sales contract cases. Known for her approachable personality, Emily excels in both settlement negotiations and courtroom advocacy to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients.

Emily holds an Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from Southern Illinois University. During law school, she gained valuable experience with the Land of Lincoln Courtroom Assistance Foundation, where she later became a staff attorney.

At Land of Lincoln, Emily represented numerous clients and advanced to the role of senior staff attorney. She led the Housing Task Force, ensuring that attorneys across 65 Illinois counties were well-versed in current housing law and received necessary support.

Emily's community involvement includes over a decade on the Board of Directors for St. Clair County’s Homeless Action Council. She initiated Project Homeless Connect, an annual event that centralizes social services for the homeless in St. Clair County.

Additionally, Emily volunteered for the Girls Club in East St. Louis for ten years. As the Girls Club Coordinator, she organized events to broaden the horizons of young girls from local housing projects.
