Randall H. Green

Randall H. Green serves as a shareholder in the Business and Real Estate Work Groups at Meyer Capel. His dual role as legal counsel and business advisor is supported by his extensive experience representing both public and private entities. Mr. Green has handled a wide range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity investments, financing, entity formation, franchising, and leasing. His expertise extends to real estate, assisting clients in buying, selling, and leasing properties nationwide.

Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Green gained valuable experience at a regional bank, focusing on investment services, commercial lending, and mortgage lending.

Education and Licensure
Mr. Green holds a J.D. and MBA from Marquette University and earned his undergraduate degree in business finance from Illinois Wesleyan University. His academic achievements include winning the best appellate brief award in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, published in the Pace Environmental Law Review. Additionally, he participated in the ABA Negotiation Competition and occasionally lectures at the University of Illinois College of Law on negotiation topics. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Professional Awards
In 2008, Mr. Green was honored as one of Central Illinois Business Magazine’s 40 under 40. He was also named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Community Involvement
Mr. Green actively contributes to his community, having served on the boards of the United Way and Family Service of Champaign County. He has held leadership positions as board president for Family Service of Champaign County, the Emerging Community Leaders division of the United Way, and C-U Kiwanis Little League Baseball.

Personal
Randall Green resides in Savoy with his wife, Theresa, and their daughter, Adelyn. They enjoy family time and engaging with friends.
