Jeffrey M. Davis

Jeffrey M. Davis is a distinguished attorney serving clients in Champaign, Illinois, with a focus on business law, real estate transactions, and estate planning. His legal practice encompasses representing corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships in matters such as incorporation, corporate governance, contract drafting, and securities issuances. Mr. Davis also assists clients with business acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.

In addition, Mr. Davis represents clients in debt financing transactions, advising both lenders and borrowers, and handles the sale, purchase, or lease of real estate. He is adept in estate planning and business succession strategies.

Mr. Davis has been involved in notable transactions, including the acquisition of over 80 fast food restaurants and a $12,500,000 purchase of casual dining establishments. He has represented an institutional investor in acquiring over $50,000,000 of Illinois farmland and facilitated the sale of a software development company to a Fortune 500 entity. His experience extends to venture capital transactions and deals ranging from $100,000 to $20,000,000.

Since 2007, Mr. Davis has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois' College of Business, teaching Introduction to Real Estate. He also served in the Illinois National Guard from 1990 to 1996.
