Patrick T. Fitzgerald

Patrick T. Fitzgerald began his legal career at Meyer Capel in 1987 as a law clerk. He has since become a shareholder, focusing his practice on real estate law. A 1989 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, he excelled academically, earning a place on the Dean's List. Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1986, also at the University of Illinois.

Mr. Fitzgerald is an active member of the Champaign County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. His commitment to the community extends beyond his legal practice, as he is involved with the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and the Champaign Kiwanis Club.

Born and raised in Champaign-Urbana, Mr. Fitzgerald graduated from Urbana High School. He shares his hometown roots with his wife, Susan, who is also a University of Illinois alumna. Together, they have three children.

Outside the office, Mr. Fitzgerald enjoys football, basketball, baseball, and golf, both as a participant and a spectator. His passion for sports is well-known among his peers.
