About Riley Hamilton
Riley Hamilton, a native of Springfield, Illinois, began his educational journey at Christ the King Grade School and Sacred Heart Griffin High School. He then attended the University of Missouri, where he earned a degree in Political Science with minors in American Constitutional Democracy and Leadership and Public Service. During this time, he gained practical experience working in the Missouri House of Representatives in Jefferson City and the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC.
Before pursuing a legal career, Riley served as a committee clerk in the Illinois House of Representatives. He attended St. Louis University School of Law on a Dean's scholarship, where he interned at the St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis County Juvenile Court.
After graduating, Riley obtained his Missouri law license and practiced family law with Family Members Law Partners in the St. Louis area for several years. In September 2024, he received his Illinois law license and joined Gates, Wise, Schlosser & Goebel as an associate counsel.
Riley specializes in Commercial and Real Estate Transactions, Business Operations, and General Civil Litigation. He and his wife, Sofia, have been married since 2023 and are proud parents of a daughter.
