Eric Zelazny

Eric Zelazny is a distinguished bankruptcy attorney and the founder of Zelazny Business Bankruptcy. With offices in both Chicago and Tinley Park, he serves clients in business bankruptcy, personal bankruptcy, and IRS negotiations and litigation. Eric Zelazny is admitted to practice in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to his legal career, Eric was a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG, the world's largest accounting firm. He is an alumnus of the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana, graduating with Honors from the nation's top-ranked accounting program at the time. Remarkably, he passed the CPA exam on his first attempt, a milestone achieved by only twenty-eight percent of candidates.

Eric earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, a top twenty law school known for its academic excellence. Since 1995, he has been actively practicing law, representing a diverse clientele including doctors, lawyers, CPAs, major real estate developers, and even a Major League Baseball team owner.

In addition to his practice, Eric has contributed as an Illinois Bar Association CLE Accredited lecturer and served as an expert witness on bankruptcy dischargeability issues. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Illinois CPA Society.
