Scott Alan Andresen

Scott A. Andresen is the founder of Andresen & Associates, P.C., a law firm headquartered in Chicago with an additional location in East Dundee. The firm specializes in sports law, entertainment and the arts, and intellectual property, while also catering to the needs of startups and small business owners.

Before establishing his own firm, Scott gained valuable experience as in-house courtroom counsel for the Arena Football League. He also contributed to the courtroom department of the Oakland Raiders NFL team and served as Legal Assistant to the Executive Director of the Illinois High School Association.

Scott holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Valparaiso University School of Law, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he studied at Cambridge University in England under the guidance of United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Apart from his legal practice, Scott is a sports law instructor at Northwestern University's Masters of Sports Administration program. He regularly provides legal commentary on sports law and business for various national media outlets, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and ESPN.com.
