Julia A. Pucci

Julia A. Pucci, the managing partner at Pucci Pirtle, is a seasoned attorney focusing on divorce and custody litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Sociology and Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University. Following this, she obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law. During her time in law school, Julia served as a teaching assistant for legal research and writing and was active in the mediation clinic, achieving certification as a mediator. She mediated court-ordered child custody cases, assisting in drafting parenting and custody agreements.

After her admission to the Bar, Julia began her career as an Assistant State's Attorney in McHenry County, where she worked in the civil division, enforcing child support orders and handling various civil matters. She later joined a large practice in Schaumburg, concentrating on domestic relations. Her expertise continued to grow as a partner at Schwarz & Pucci, LLC, and now at Pucci Pirtle.

Julia has pursued advanced mediation training, believing it to be beneficial for resolving complex domestic relations issues, including custody and financial disputes. Her mediation skills enhance her ability to negotiate fair settlements. Nonetheless, she recognizes that not all cases can be resolved through mediation and is prepared to advocate vigorously in court when necessary. Julia approaches each case with a problem-solving mindset, acknowledging the unique circumstances of every client.
