Nrupa Patel

Nrupa Patel, a partner at BRE Law since June 2017, is a highly skilled litigator with significant experience in the legal field. Previously, she dedicated 40 years to serving as a prosecutor in Macon County, where she adeptly managed cases involving felonies, traffic violations, domestic batteries, and juvenile delinquencies. Her comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system is now channeled into her practice areas of criminal defense and household law.

Nrupa's multilingual capabilities enable her to effectively assist clients in Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati, providing a unique advantage in client communication. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Nrupa pursued her undergraduate studies at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies.

Following her undergraduate education, Nrupa attended the Northern Illinois University College of Law. During her time there, she was actively involved in Moot Court and Mock Trial, and she held the position of Vice President for the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University in 2012.
