Tricia D. Goostree

Tricia D. Goostree discovered her passion for the legal profession early, realizing her interest in litigation during her college years at Eastern Illinois University through participation in the mock trial team. Her education continued at John Marshall Law School, where she was awarded a Dean's Scholarship and honed her skills in the courtroom, notably winning the Dean Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition. Her involvement extended to the Moot Court Executive Board, where she competed in regional and interstate competitions.

During her law school tenure, Tricia gained valuable experience as an intern with the Illinois Attorney General's Office in the consumer fraud division and as a Supreme Court Rule 711 clerk for the Chicago Courtroom Clinic. At the Chicago Legal Clinic, she began assisting clients with family law issues, including divorces, Orders of Protection, and child support enforcement, regularly appearing in the Cook County Domestic Relations division.

After two years of practicing primarily in Cook County, Tricia expanded her practice to include Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and Dekalb counties, earning a strong reputation among judges and peers. Since 2002, her practice has been exclusively concentrated in family law and domestic relations, addressing complex financial disputes, maintenance issues, contested custody litigation, and appeals.

For nearly 14 years, Tricia has been committed to zealously representing her clients, approaching every case with integrity and compassion, whether in settlement negotiations or court proceedings.
