Daniel A. Klein

Daniel A. Klein, a partner at Kurasch & Klein, is a seasoned attorney with a focus on plaintiff’s personal injury and medical errors litigation. After graduating from the Ohio State University College of Law, he was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1990 and the Florida bar in 1994. His practice encompasses a diverse range of cases, including wrongful death, nursing home negligence, auto collisions, property liability, construction accidents, FELA, products liability, and wrongful discharge.

Throughout his career, Dan has tried hundreds of jury cases and arbitrations, securing substantial verdicts and settlements. Recently, he achieved significant recoveries, including $4.8 million for medical negligence, $2.4 million for trucking crashes, and $10 million for a construction accident. His dedication has earned him recognition among Illinois’ top 100 lawyers by Illinois Super Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers, and The American Society for Legal Advocates.

Dan is consistently ranked among the top 5% of lawyers in Illinois. He also serves as a Chair qualified arbitrator in the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in 1987.
