Lauren began her legal career at Konicek & Dillon in St. Charles, IL, where she clerked, assisting with research and drafting legal documents in insurance defense cases. After law school, she joined Lavelle Law, Ltd. in Palatine, IL as an associate, gaining experience in estate planning, business succession, probate, collections, and real estate transactions.

Lauren holds a B.A. in Journalism from Northern Illinois University, earned in 1999, and graduated from its law program. She has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 2003. Lauren actively participates in professional and community organizations, including the Kane County Bar Association, Elgin Downtown Neighborhood Association, Chicago Repertory Ballet Board, and First Congregational Church of Elgin.
