Evan Winer

With a distinguished career spanning three decades, Evan Winer is a highly experienced legal professional in Lake County. He represents clients in Criminal, DUI, Traffic, Juvenile, and Secretary of State License Reinstatement Hearings. A Graduate With Distinction (Cum Laude) from the University of Iowa and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Evan attended Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1988 and to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1989.

Evan began his career in the civil litigation division at Arnstein & Lehr in Chicago. He then served as a Cook County Public Defender, gaining extensive experience in criminal defense. His assignments included Juvenile Court, First Municipal Division, Felony Preliminary Hearings, Night Narcotics Division, and the Felony Trial Division at 26th & California.

In 1993, Evan joined the Lake County Public Defender's Office in the Felony Trial Division. He later joined his family at the Law Offices of Winer & Winer in Waukegan, where he has built a reputation for exceptional advocacy in Lake County.

Evan is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Lake County Bar Association, where he participates in the Criminal Law Committee, as well as the North Suburban Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
