Jeffrey P. Story

Jeffrey P. Story is a dedicated legal counsel based in Evanston, Illinois, with extensive experience in civil litigation. He earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 2005. That same year, he was admitted to the Illinois State Bar. Over the past eight years, Jeff has been actively practicing in Chicago, focusing on civil litigation.

Jeff is married to Amy Marinacci, whom he met during law school. Amy, also an attorney, hails from Evanston, where her family still resides. Together, they have a young son named Gabriel, who attends Pope John XXIII School in Evanston. Recently, Jeff experienced the personal loss of both his parents within a short span, providing him with a profound understanding of the importance of living wills, funeral planning, and family trusts.

Jeff is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys at both the national and state levels, Elder Counsel, LLC, the Illinois State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Sections, and the Chicago Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee. He is passionate about assisting elders and their families in planning for aging and navigating legal challenges.

Outside of his legal practice, Jeff enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. He has a passion for cooking, playing guitars, restoring and riding bicycles, and listening to jazz music.
