Thomas J. Nathan

Thomas J. Nathan has been an active member of the legal community since 1978, focusing on catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and product liability disputes. His extensive experience has taken him to courthouses nationwide, advocating for clients affected by negligence. Thomas earned his undergraduate degree from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, in 1972. While teaching at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, he completed his Master's in History at Northwestern University in 1974 and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1978.

After two years in general legal practice, Thomas joined the law firm of Lane and Munday in 1980, where he began representing clients impacted by others' negligent actions. His work encompassed litigation involving medical misconduct, auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents, product liability, police misconduct, construction incidents, and general negligence claims.

In 1991, Thomas co-founded Munday and Nathan with John Munday, continuing his dedication to trial and litigation in these areas. Under his leadership, the firm has prosecuted numerous injury claims across Cook and other Illinois counties and has represented clients in courts nationwide. Their cases have involved significant events such as mass electrocution, train accidents, defective brake and vehicle design, and medical negligence.
