About Whitney Cameron
Whitney Cameron broke new ground in her family as the first to attend college, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics from Augustana College. She graduated with honors with a Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in 2017. During her time at law school, Whitney excelled as an editor for The John Marshall Law Review and participated in the Moot Court Honors Program. Her commitment to service was evident as she dedicated over eight credit hours to pro bono work.
In the summer of 2016, Whitney gained invaluable experience through an externship at the Will County Court House. Under the mentorship of several judges, she crafted memorandums of law to support final adjudications, igniting her passion for Family Law. At the close of 2016, she embarked on her journey with Henderson & Mehta Law & Mediation Center, initially serving as a secretary and legal assistant. Upon passing the bar and being sworn in as an attorney in November 2017, Whitney focused her practice on Divorce, Separation, Parental Allocation, and Child Support.
Outside of her professional commitments, Whitney enjoys spending time with her nieces, adopted nephews, and her dog. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Will County Bar Association.
