Before attending law school, Mr. Boughter worked as a special agent with the Office of Inspector General-Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he investigated and prosecuted government fraud cases, achieving a 100% conviction rate. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2002, supported by a partial scholarship.
After law school, Mr. Boughter gained experience at a prominent insurance defense firm in northwest Indiana, defending trucking companies, municipalities, police officers, businesses, and insurance companies against claims of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and civil rights violations. Currently, he focuses exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury cases, including catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, product liability, and construction and work-related injuries.
