Michael Head

Michael Head is a key member of the Paganelli Law Group's Business/Corporate team, where he focuses on business transactions, including standard contracts and mergers and acquisitions. His expertise extends to company structuring, dispute resolution, real estate, and providing outside general counsel services. Michael serves as both courtroom counsel and a strategic advisor, primarily assisting small and midsize privately held companies and their owners.

His litigation background includes successful cases in various state courts, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and the Indiana Supreme Court. Michael collaborates closely with the firm's litigators to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. Previously, he spent nearly nine years as in-house general counsel and held executive roles, such as chief operating officer, in the technology and manufacturing sectors. This experience has equipped him with a profound understanding of the challenges faced by business owners, enhancing his ability to communicate and strategize effectively with them.

Michael is a frequent lecturer at continuing judicial education (CLE) and business seminars. His contributions to the legal community earned him recognition as a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers from 2014 to 2017. He holds a bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, with honors, from Indiana University - Indianapolis and completed his legal education at Indiana University's McKinney School of Law, concentrating in Health Law.

A lifelong Hoosier, Michael grew up in Kokomo and now resides in Indianapolis. He enjoys hiking and biking with his wife and two young sons, as well as spending time with their two rescue huskies. Michael splits his workweek between Indianapolis and Bloomington.
