Bill Frederick

Bill Frederick has dedicated his career to practicing criminal law. Before joining Banks and Brower in February 2019, he served as a Deputy Prosecutor in Marion County for nine years. His career began in the Juvenile Division of the Prosecutor's office, where he managed thousands of cases, from misdemeanors to major felonies.

Subsequently, Bill moved to the Municipal Division, handling level 6 felonies and conducting numerous bench and jury trials. In the final five years of his tenure at the Prosecutor's office, Bill was part of the Major Felony Division, trying over 20 murder and attempted murder cases with notable success. He also contributed to the Special Crimes Unit, collaborating with homicide detectives to investigate and file murder charges.

Bill concluded his prosecutorial career as the Supervisor of Criminal Court 5, overseeing three major felony Deputy Prosecutors. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Bill earned a B.A. in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He resides in Indianapolis with his fiancé, Stephanie, and their chocolate lab, Harlow. Bill holds a law degree and a Masters in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University School of Law.
