John Taylor

John Taylor is a dedicated Senior Associate Lawyer at Stange Law Practice, where he offers expert legal guidance in family law from the Indianapolis, Indiana office. His mission is to deliver empathetic and strategic representation to individuals and families navigating complex and emotional legal issues.

John obtained his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, graduating magna cum laude in May 2008. During his time in law school, he excelled academically and contributed as a Note Development Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review.

Prior to his legal education, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Indiana University in Bloomington, completing his degree in December 2003.

Before joining Stange Law Office, John built a robust career in litigation and client advocacy. He most recently served as an Associate Counsel with The Liberty Mutual Group in Indianapolis, where he managed all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and trials, assisting in settlement negotiations, and mentoring junior attorneys.

Earlier in his career, John worked as a Paralegal at Liberty Mutual and as a Staff Attorney at AHC, Inc., focusing on appeals and resolution negotiations. These roles equipped him with a comprehensive legal background that he now applies to his practice at Stange Law Firm.

John is licensed to practice law in Indiana and holds an associate membership with the Virginia State Bar. His extensive litigation experience, combined with a commitment to client service, empowers him to handle family law matters with clarity and compassion. He is dedicated to advocating for his clients' rights and supporting their futures during divorce and custody disputes.
