Ryan D. Hatfield

Ryan D. Hatfield is an attorney at Hatfield Law in Evansville, Indiana, where he also holds the position of State Representative in the Indiana General Assembly. As a seasoned trial lawyer, Ryan provides representation in a broad spectrum of cases across state and federal courts.

Before joining Hatfield Law, Ryan served as a Deputy Prosecutor in Vanderburgh County. In this role, he prosecuted serious cases involving felony drug charges, sexual assaults, and homicides. Additionally, he contributed to law enforcement training as an instructor at the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and worked within the Vanderburgh County Treatment Courts and Veterans Court.

In his capacity as State Representative, Ryan is involved in several legislative committees, including Criminal Code and Courts, Judiciary, Elections and Apportionment (RMM), and Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications.

Beyond his legal practice and legislative duties, Ryan actively engages in legal education. He serves as an instructor for local and state bar courses and is an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College.
