Matt Shelton

Matt Shelton is the founding attorney of Shelton Law P.C., located in Indianapolis, Indiana. His firm is dedicated to offering practical, business-oriented legal solutions to early-stage companies and small business owners. Matt's practice primarily centers on advising clients in the service, e-commerce, real estate, and SaaS sectors, providing essential transactional guidance.

In addition to his business practice, Matt assists individuals with expunging criminal records, pursuing consumer claims, and representing those who have been injured. He also provides support in simple estate planning matters, including will drafting, simple trusts, and power of attorney.

Matt hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and earned his B.S. in Business from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville in just three years. He then achieved his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was active in moot court and the Business and Law Society. His litigation experience spans working with family office investment firms, a general specialty legal clinic in Bloomington, and a corporate setting where he assisted with commercial transactions and small business legal services.
