Anthony Churchward

Anthony Churchward began his legal career at the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, where he handled cases in both the Misdemeanor and Felony divisions. As a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, he gained substantial experience in a variety of cases, including violent crimes, misdemeanors, and financial offenses. This experience laid a strong foundation for his current legal practice.

In 2000, Mr. Churchward joined Leonard, Hammond, Thoma and Terrill as an associate attorney, where he demonstrated the same dedication to his clients as he did in his previous role. After 15 years, he transitioned to solo practice, establishing his own law firm. Throughout his career, Mr. Churchward has been involved in high-profile cases, such as the murder case of Fort Wayne Police officer Gentry Mosley and the case of Michael Plumadore.

Mr. Churchward has also participated in death-penalty defense teams for Ronrico Hatch and Simon Rios. He represents clients across Northeast Indiana and handles federal cases in the United States District Court. His practice extends beyond criminal defense to include a strong focus on family law and employment law. He provides representation in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, paternity, and adoptions.
