Mark Cannon

Mark Cannon brings extensive experience to his practice in Hamilton County, Indiana, focusing on estate planning, probate and trust administration, business formation and succession planning, business transactions, contracts, and real estate law. Before embarking on his legal career, Mark worked at Northwestern Mutual Life, where he developed life and disability insurance plans. His academic achievements include earning Dean’s List honors five times during law school.

Mark began his legal journey at the Indiana Department of Revenue as an Inheritance Tax Legal Counsel, managing complex inheritance tax audits and consultations. He then transitioned to a public accounting firm, advising high net worth clients on estate, gift, and income tax planning. Since 1999, Mark has been dedicated to private practice, bringing his expertise to a wide range of clients.

Mark is a sought-after speaker, having presented at numerous seminars such as “Advanced Estate Planning Techniques in Indiana” and “Probate Process from Start to Finish.” His commitment to community service is evident through his volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, where he received the IN/MI Heart Award in 2013 for his advocacy efforts. Mark also served on the Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Ambassadors and has been active in church ministries.

Currently residing in Brownsburg with his wife Kirsten and their three children, Mark attends Traders Point Church. His personal experiences, including his journey as a cancer survivor, fuel his dedication to supporting cancer advocacy and community involvement.
