Robert Nice

An Indiana native, Robert J. Nice has been a dedicated legal professional in the state for over three decades. After earning his law degree from Villanova University in 1985, he spent six years as an associate at a prominent Indianapolis law firm before founding The Nice Law Firm, LLP in 1992. As the Managing Partner, he oversees the operations of five offices across central Indiana.

Robert's practice areas include Real Estate, Small Business, Business Litigation, General Litigation, Judicial Malpractice, and Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury. He is known for his courtroom proficiency, excelling in oral arguments and jury trials, and has achieved several multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients.

Before entering the legal field, Robert obtained his undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Purdue University and worked as a pharmacist. His extensive real estate knowledge is complemented by his experience as a former owner of over 100 rental properties. As a small business owner, Robert is well-versed in the complexities and challenges of running a successful business.

Robert is an active member of the legal community, participating in the American Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, and Indianapolis Bar Association. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Litigation Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and was recognized as a “Distinguished Fellow” by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation in 2019.

Admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the United States Court of Appeals - Seventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, Robert is committed to providing skilled, compassionate legal assistance to Hoosiers.
