Benjamin Cook

Benjamin Cook, born in Missouri and raised in Kansas, brings a strong Midwest perspective to his legal practice. He completed both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Kansas, earning his law degree in 2004. In 2006, Ben relocated to Iowa, where he has become an integral part of the community.

Between 2012 and 2016, Ben gained significant experience working in-house at an Iowa insurance company. This role provided him with a deep understanding of the insurance industry, which he now applies to benefit his clients. Since 2016, Ben has focused exclusively on representing injured Iowans, achieving numerous successful settlements and verdicts.

Residing in the Des Moines area with his wife and three children, Ben practices in civil personal injury and workers' financial recovery. He handles a variety of claims, including car accidents, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, dog bites, and fall injuries, as well as workers' compensation claims such as body as a whole and scheduled member injuries.

As an active member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Iowa Association for Justice, Ben Cook is known for his compassionate and comprehensive approach to legal representation. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys reading, watching football, lifting weights, and supporting his children's athletic activities such as baseball, softball, basketball, football, and ballet.
