Danni Harris

Danni Harris brings over nineteen years of expertise in litigating complex judicial matters. Currently serving as a member counsel at Whitfield & Eddy Law, she focuses her practice on Family Law, including dissolution of marriage, custody, spousal support, domestic abuse, grandparent guardianship, and termination of parental entitlements.

Danni earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management with honors from Baylor University in 1996. She graduated from Drake University Law School in 1999 and was admitted to the Texas bar shortly thereafter. Her early career in Dallas involved working as an Assistant District Courtroom professional at the Dallas County District Counsel’s Office, where she prosecuted cases involving domestic abuse, DUI, assault, robbery, and felony narcotics until 2003.

In 2003, Danni transitioned to a solo practice, concentrating on family law within the Juvenile and Family Law Courts. She returned to Iowa in 2008, joining Iowa Legal Aid as a staff attorney. There, she represented victims of domestic violence through the Women’s Equal Justice Project and as a Violence Against Women’s Act attorney.
