Jake Oeth

Jake Oeth is a seasoned attorney located in Altoona, Iowa, with a focus on personal injury law, including automobile accidents, medical negligence, and workers' compensation. Jake obtained his Juris Doctor with honors from Drake University Law School in May 2018. During his time at law school, he contributed to a significant case where he assisted a federal inmate in successfully applying for a commutation of a life sentence related to a drug conviction. He also gained practical experience as a student attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, representing court-appointed criminal defendants.

Jake's academic journey began with a degree in political science from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he was also an active member of the college basketball team, the Duhawks. After completing his undergraduate studies in 2009, Jake embarked on a career in public service, working for U.S. Senator Tom Harkin in Washington, D.C., and later returning to Iowa to serve U.S. Representative Bruce Braley in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, and Des Moines.
