David M. Pillers

David M. Pillers, a partner at Pillers and Richmond, specializes in Civil Litigation, Collective Bargaining, Business and Corporate Law, Municipal Law, Real Estate, and Estate Planning. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics with a minor in Business at Valparaiso University in 1992 and earned his law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 1998.

Mr. Pillers is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Iowa State Bar Association, where he is a member of the Probate and Real Estate Section, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also affiliated with the American Bar Association, participating in the Motor Vehicle Collision and Probate and Real Property sections. His professional memberships extend to the American Association of Justice, Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, Clinton County Bar Association—where he served as President from 2004 to 2005—the Clinton County Estate Planning Committee, Iowa Trust Association, and the Iowa Municipal Attorneys Association.

Licensed to practice in state courts across Iowa and Illinois, Mr. Pillers is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa and the Northern District of Illinois.
