Joe then pursued his legal education at Drake Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.

Beyond his legal work, Joe is actively involved in non-profit boards and community organizations, assisting many in obtaining IRS tax-exempt status. Joe has served on the board of directors for Davenport Legal Aid, H.E.L.P., and has dedicated 25 years to coaching youth basketball. He is married to Connie, and together they have two children and three grandchildren.
