Bruce L. Walker

Bruce L. Walker has dedicated his career to both legal excellence and community service. He has been actively involved in numerous professional groups, including serving on the State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers and as President of the Iowa Corporate Counsel. His editorial expertise is recognized through his role on the Board of Editors for Defence Update Magazine. Additionally, Bruce is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and serves as the Midwest Regional Membership Chair and on the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.

Bruce's leadership extends to his past presidency of the Iowa State Bar Association, where he continues to contribute on the administrative committee. His community involvement since 1977 highlights his commitment, particularly in coaching youth sports, which he finds especially rewarding.

In his efforts to improve legal access, Bruce is a member of the Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission and chairs the Language Access Subgroup. He is also a founding member of the New Iowans Litigation Advice Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to those in need.
