Jessica Malott

Jessica Malott, the owner and managing partner of Malott Law, PLC, is a distinguished attorney focusing on immigration law in Coralville, Iowa. She graduated with honors in 2006 from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Drake Law Review and interned at the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV).

Jessica's career has spanned various roles, including law clerk, federal government attorney, law school career advisor, and private practice lawyer. Her current practice primarily addresses removal defense in Immigration Court and family-based immigration. She also handles cases involving Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U Visa, Special Immigrant Juvenile visas and related guardianships, as well as immigration-related family law disputes. Fluent in Spanish, she predominantly serves native Spanish-speaking clients.

Before attending law school, Jessica completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa in 2002, earning a double major in Spanish and Communication Studies. Her undergraduate experience included studying abroad in Spain and interning at a Washington, DC-based nonprofit that assisted Latino clients facing homelessness or substance abuse and mental health challenges.
