About Jamie Linn Cox
Jamie L. Cox, a partner at Willson & Pechacek, PLC, has been serving the Council Bluffs community since 2001, becoming a partner in 2006. His comprehensive litigation practice encompasses employment and labor law, estate and trust litigation, personal injury law, business law, and civil rights law. A native of Wapello, Iowa, Mr. Cox completed his undergraduate studies with honors at the University of Iowa, earning bachelor's degrees in history and sociology. He then pursued his law degree at The University of Iowa College of Law. Mr. Cox is admitted to practice in the state courts of Iowa and Nebraska, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, the U.S. Tax Court, the Iowa Supreme Court, the Nebraska Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Cox is actively involved in numerous professional organizations. He is a member of the Pottawattamie County Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association, and the Iowa Defendant Counsel Association. Additionally, he participates in the dispute resolution, labor and employment law, and state and local governing sections of the American Bar Association.
Beyond his legal career, Mr. Cox is dedicated to his local community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Children's Square U.S.A., coaches for the Council Bluffs Soccer Club, and leads a Cub Scouts den.
