Daniel Wernert

Daniel Wernert is the owner of Wernert Law LLC, providing legal services to Butler County and its surrounding regions. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate disputes, and Civil Litigation. He also handles other legal matters on a case-by-case basis.

Daniel completed his undergraduate studies at Wichita State University in 2011. He earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2015, graduating with Certificates of Excellence in Tax and Estate Planning. During his time at Washburn Law, he contributed to the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, aiding families in securing tax credits and deductions.

While attending law school, Daniel gained experience at the Kansas Corporation Commission’s Oil and Gas Conservation Division. He also worked at H & R Block’s Tax Institute, where he addressed complex tax inquiries for individual filers. He further honed his legal skills as an intern at Anderson & Byrd, focusing on business formation, real estate transactions, eminent domain, and estate planning cases. Following law school, Daniel joined a Wichita-based personal injury firm, enhancing his expertise in civil litigation.

Daniel actively volunteers with United Way and the El Dorado Community Foundation, contributing to his community.
