Alexander I. Platt

Jeff Wagoner is the founder, President, and Attorney at W M LAW. With a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri Kansas City earned in 1995, Jeff has dedicated over 30 years to providing compassionate legal services to individuals and small businesses. His practice areas include Consumer and Small Business Bankruptcy as well as Estate Planning and Probate. He holds licenses to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.

Jeff's commitment to professionalism has earned him numerous awards, such as being named a Super Lawyer for several consecutive years and receiving the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Young Lawyer of the Year award. He is also recognized as a Best of the Bar Bankruptcy Attorney. His leadership extends to serving on the Attorney Advisory Committee to the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri. Jeff actively shares his legal insights through articles and educational video blogs available on W M LAW's YouTube channel.

In addition to his legal career, Jeff is a retired U.S. Navy Captain who served during the Persian Gulf War—Desert Storm. He commanded three Navy Reserve Units and received multiple military decorations and medals for his service.

Outside of law, Jeff is passionate about cars. He founded the Kansas City Automotive Museum and serves on its Board of Directors. Despite his professional achievements, his favorite moments are spent with family, reminiscing about coaching his children's sports teams.
