John Harper

John Harper has been passionately committed to the field of consumer bankruptcy law since 2006, providing expert legal assistance to individuals seeking a fresh financial start. Based in Topeka, Kansas, conveniently near the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, he extends his services to clients throughout the state. John Harper is known for his dedication to helping people navigate complex financial challenges, ensuring they receive the support needed to regain stability.

Before embarking on his legal career, John attended Washburn School of Law, where he gained valuable experience working as a paralegal in a bankruptcy law office. He holds a degree in English from the University of Kansas, which he attended as a Merit Scholarship recipient. His educational journey began at Lawrence High School, where he was recognized as a Merit Scholarship Finalist.

Outside of law, John has a rich history in music. At 15, he co-founded the punk rock band The Micronotz, achieving regional recognition. The band produced several records and remains a cherished memory for John, who occasionally still plays guitar.

In addition to his musical endeavors, John explored the culinary arts through the Culinary and Hospitality Program at JCCC, which led to various gastronomic experiences. Ultimately, his passion for helping others led him back to law, following in his father's footsteps. John finds fulfillment in his legal practice, knowing that his work positively impacts his clients' lives.
