About Randall Clinkscales
Randall Clinkscales established Clinkscales Elder Law Practice, P.A. in 1985, specializing in elder law. A 1980 graduate of Washburn Law School, Randall has dedicated over three decades to representing clients across administrative, county, state, and federal levels.
Randall was the first attorney in the area to join the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is an active member of its Kansas Chapter, where he served as president from 2009 to 2011. He is also affiliated with the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association and the Elder Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association.
In 2004, Clinkscales Elder Law Practice, P.A. launched its Elder-Centered Practice, addressing the needs of the aging population and their caregivers. Randall has co-authored two books: “What You Really Need to Know for the Second Half of Life” and “Protect Your Family Members!: Don’t Write a Blank Check to the Nur$ing Home,” both available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Randall writes a bi-weekly column for the Hays Daily News and Hays Post, discussing legal issues faced by older adults and the benefits they can access. He regularly conducts seminars for continuing education, aimed at healthcare professionals, financial experts, attorneys, and the public throughout Kansas.
Randall is married to Barbara Clinkscales, and they have three sons.
