Carey Leonard Fleske

Carey Leonard Fleske, a native of Great Bend, Kansas, began his academic journey at Great Bend High School. He then pursued higher education, earning a B.A. from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. His legal career commenced at a local firm in the Kansas City Metro Area, where he gained significant experience in both criminal and civil litigation.

After several years in Kansas City, Mr. Fleske returned to his roots in Barton County, Kansas, to serve as an Assistant County Attorney. In this prosecutorial role, he honed his trial skills and successfully prosecuted numerous career criminals. His expertise was further enhanced through specialized training in DUI prosecution, search and seizure law, and drug interdiction.

Mr. Fleske was selected to participate in the prestigious Top Gun program, which educates law enforcement officers across Kansas on drug crime prosecution. This experience deepened his understanding of the complexities involved in criminal cases.

Upon leaving the Barton County Attorney’s Office, Mr. Fleske joined a firm in Overland Park, where he focused on defending clients against a variety of criminal and traffic charges. This experience ignited his passion for assisting individuals during challenging times.

Driven by this passion, Mr. Fleske established his own law firm, committed to a client-centered approach. He emphasizes communication and problem-solving, ensuring that clients receive diligent representation. His practice prioritizes explaining options, conducting thorough investigations, and developing effective case strategies.
