Dustan Chad McCoy

Dustan Chad McCoy is a seasoned lawyer based in Bardstown, Kentucky, known for his commitment to client advocacy. After graduating 4th in his class from the University of Kentucky Law School, Chad began his legal career with prominent firms such as Stites & Harbison and Parr, Waddoups, Brown, Gee, & Loveless. Seeking to focus on individual clients rather than large corporations, he co-founded McCoy & Sparks, PLLC with his law school classmates.

With nearly two decades of collaboration, Chad and Sheila Hiestand established the Dream Team at McCoy & Hiestand, PLC. Chad is passionate about ensuring clients receive the representation and compensation they deserve, standing up against insurance companies that often pressure victims into unfair settlements.

Beyond his legal practice, Chad is a multifaceted individual. He has a background in programming, is an avid reader, and continually seeks knowledge. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, running, skiing, and spending time with his wife and twin boys. Chad is also a licensed pilot, a high school robotics team coach, and an adjunct professor of law at a local college.
