Jessica R. Shoulders

Jessica R. Shoulders is a partner at ELPO, where she concentrates on products liability and personal injury cases. Her expertise lies in handling defective medical products and pharmaceuticals. In the medical device sector, Jessica has been involved in numerous cases against manufacturers of metal-on-metal hip replacements, which have faced criticism for their design flaws. She also represents clients in lawsuits concerning IVC (inferior vena cava) filters, which are intended to prevent pulmonary embolisms but can cause severe complications if left in the body too long.

Jessica is actively representing patients affected by Bair Hugger Forced Air Warming Blankets, used during surgeries to maintain patient warmth but linked to deep joint infections post-orthopedic procedures. Such infections may necessitate revision surgeries or even amputations. Her practice extends to cases involving Actos, a diabetes medication associated with bladder cancer, and Lipitor. Additionally, she advocates for patients who have experienced severe bleeding events while on Xarelto.

Jessica holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University and a law degree from the University of Kentucky. A native of Franklin, Kentucky, she resides in Bowling Green.
