Heather R. Dyer

Heather R. Dyer brings over seventeen years of extensive courtroom experience to her practice, adeptly representing clients in Northeast Ohio across all facets of family law. Her expertise encompasses divorce, dissolution, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, adoptions, modifications, and restraining orders. As a Guardian ad Litem, she has advocated for minors in numerous cases, ensuring their best interests are prioritized in custody disputes.

Attorney Dyer is among a select group certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Family Law Specialist. She is dedicated to achieving her clients' objectives efficiently and cost-effectively, offering personalized attention and tailored guidance. Heather earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Communications with honors from the University of Akron and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 2002. She is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association. Her credentials extend to mediation and certification in Collaborative Divorce.

Originally from Central Ohio, Heather pursued her legal education in Florida before returning to Northeast Ohio, where she now practices law and raises her family in Akron. She serves clients across Summit, Cuyahoga, Medina, Portage, Stark, Lake, and Geauga counties.
