Nina Couch

Nina Couch is a committed attorney practicing in Bullitt County, Kentucky. A lifelong resident of Louisville, she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Bellarmine University. She completed her law degree Magna Cum Laude at the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 2013. Her legal career began at a prominent law firm within the Regulated Business work group.

Before pursuing law, Nina built a successful career in accounting and finance. After graduating from Bellarmine University in 2003, she worked at a Big Four accounting firm focusing on healthcare auditing and taxation. She later served as Chief Financial Officer of a mortgage company.

In addition to her legal practice, Nina is an esteemed educator at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she has taught Property Law, Professional Responsibility, Evidence, and Mediation. She has completed mediation training certificates from Northwestern University and Harvard Law School. Her teaching experience extends to the University of Louisville School of Business, where she has taught Taxation and Commercial Law.

Nina's inspiration to practice law stems from her parents' immigration story. Her Italian parents often spoke about the importance of freedom, justice, and legal rights, values that deeply influence her approach to law today.
